Toy Review – The Aria Hot Tongue by Blush Novelties

The Aria Hot Tongue Rechargeable Bullet Kit is one of several silicone shapes paired with a small plastic bullet by Blush Novelties. The bullet has five levels of steady intensity and five patterns. The bullet is waterproof and rechargeable by magnetic charging cable (which we all know I hate.)
I previously wrote about the Finger Wand Kit, and my opinions of the Hot Tongue are largely the same, as the bullet that powers it is the same. The more I used it the less and less I enjoyed having to push the button on the end of the bullet, and of course I will always wish for something stronger – it’s just my nature – but overall it’s not a bad little vibe.
The difference for the Hot Tongue comes mostly with the shape of the sheath that encases the bullet. The Finger Wand’s ridges on the tip do nothing for me as I generally don’t like to move the toy around, so I prefer the full smoothness of the Hot Tongue.
What I like most is that the tip of the Hot Tongue is only about an inch wide and solid for an inch of length. The width fits perfectly between my labia without forcing them apart, and the firmness of the tip carries the vibrations of the bullet fairly well. What’s surprising is that I find the tip of the Hot Tongue to be more intense and pleasurable than the whole Finger Wand was, even though the bullet fit into the full length of the Finger Wand.
It’s rare for me to do, but on the odd occasion I also like sliding the middle ridge of the Hot Tongue down the full length of my labia. I lose quite a bit of sensation from the middle of the bullet so it’s not a move I’ll make if I’m actively trying to cum, but for a warm-up sensation it’s not bad.
With the Finger Wand Kit I was only able to force out an orgasm after playing with another toy that died on me, but the Hot Tongue has managed to squeak out a couple (not excellent, but passable) orgasms all on its own. This is a pretty big deal to me considering how difficult I find it to cum lately with anything besides my Womanizer and Zumio. I don’t reach for the Hot Tongue on a regular basis but I do like to have the option now and then, and a cheap, quiet, and tiny vibe is a good option to have around. Aside from perhaps the Sweet Leaf (which is an almost identical shape) I think the Hot Tongue is the best option for me out of the Bullet Kit group, I just wish it had a better name – it certainly doesn’t feel like a human tongue and it makes me think of something I’d find in some seedy roadside porn dvd and shitty toy shack rather than a reputable upscale shop.
